|
Splined
Shaft / Roto - All Alvarado full height turnstiles use double
top roto bearings, one inside the top channel, and one underneath.
Roto units are securely coupled to a splined top channel shaft.
The splines provide a precision fit and assure proper timing.

| Electrical
Features - 110VAC input is stepped down and rectified for low
voltage 12VDC operation. Other features include junction box with
dual power receptacle and on/off power switch. All electric models
have been tested and approved by City of Los Angeles Dept. of Building
and Safety (Underwriters Laboratories Standard UL-325).

Activation
Interface - Alvarado's full height turnstiles are activated
(unlocked) by supplying an isolated, momentary dry contact. No additional
interface relay is required.

|
|
Timed
Delay Auto Relock - Once activated (unlocked) the user has 20
seconds to pass through the turnstile. If not rotated within the
20 second time period, the turnstile will automatically relock.
No additional time delay relay is required. As an option, an Adjustable
Timed Delay Auto Relock is also available, which allows adjustments
or disabling of the time delay relock.

|
 |
Turnstile
Rotation Feedback Signal - A feedback signal in the form of
a relay output is sent each time there is a turnstile rotation.
Individual signals are provided for each direction of rotation.

|
|
Self
Centering - A precision hydraulic self-centering mechanism corrects
under (less than 120°) or over (more than 120°) rotation
of the arms following completion of passage, automatically returning
arms to the "home" position.

Fail
Safe Option - This Alvarado full height turnstile option replaces
the standard Fail Lock mode. The Fail Safe option allows free rotation

Red/Green
Status Lights - When used in conjunction with access control
systems, Alvarado full height turnstiles may be ordered with Red/Green
Status Lights mounted within the top channel. The Green LED pattern
is activated when a valid card is scanned, and indicates that the
turnstile is momentarily unlocked to permit a single passage. The
Red LED pattern shows that the turnstile remains in locked status.

| Red/Green/Yellow
Status Lights - When used in conjunction with access control systems,
Alvarado full height turnstiles may be ordered with Red/Green/Yellow
status lights mounted within the top channel. Yellow LED's are lit
