VRG gates provide a comfortable passage width of approximately 3 feet, making them suitable for wheelchair access. Other features include fully welded steel construction including gate arm assembly and posts, plus a gravty closure mechanism that automatically closes the gate after passage. Single direction gates also include a hydraulic dampener that prevents slamming of the gate during closure.

Single and bi-directional VRG gates may be ordered as a standard gate without locks (VRG), and single direction electric lock control gates (VRGX) may be integrated with access control/identification systems.

Special configurations of the VRG with longer, 42" gate arms are available for applications where a wider passage width is required. All VRG models are available in #304 stainless steel polished to a #4 satin finish, or color powder coat.
